For an example, here it say the dark knights are "appointed by the Fourth Monster Princess Druella and Princess Francisca"; but Francisca's name isn't even in the original text, instead it has two kanji for the Seven Princesses.

Is this part of the text specifically about the Dark Knights? Most likely, here I simply encountered this term for the first time here. (I translated the description of this class first in the entire book) And I thought that the Seventh Princess meant Francisca - the seventh girl of “You”.

While I can see the process, there are two problems. First, AFAIK here's no specific order of "your" wives (aside from Koyoi, who join the group last), so assume that 7th mean Francisca is still pure speculation. Second, the kanji on the original text is 七姫 (and this page is actually viewable on Kurobinega). If it's 7th Princess it should be 第七姫 (notice that Druella has that one kanji to note her position as the 4th princess).

I'm not sure if "Heavily Armored Knight" can be called simply "Armor" in English. This was a topic of discussion even at the time of the first correction of errors in the English translation. In Russian we have a special name for such armored warriors. Apparently this exists in Japanese as well, so I’m not sure how to translate it correctly here.

But Dark Brave is precisely that, an incorrect translation of the word "Dark Hero" by Kenkou into English using a translator(?). He was simply shown a different version of the translation of the hieroglyphs into English, since Hero and Brave are synonymous. In all other books on MGE, this is the Dark Hero. And I don’t see the reason and logic for changing the already used definition to Dark Brave.

To be honest, I didn’t quite understand what the problem was. According to the text, this is the "attack" formation of a pair of lovers. In which they hit enemy soldiers with the lustfulness of their movements. Regardless of the gender of the enemy soldiers, both women and men. Moreover, since this is an already formed pair of mamono and a human, the excitement and lust of other people is not concentrated on the pair itself. And they actually pass by the people struck down by their weapons, leaving them for other monsters.

Thank you, I honestly missed that. But it's pretty obvious that this is either just excerpt from the main text to highlight each class, or is different from the main text. For the former, I think just remove ot should be fine since it doesn't make sense in the main text and only make stuff confusing (and I need to check the scan first, but considered how long it is, I find it doubtful that the excerpts contain the whole paragraph). For the latter, then it should have its own header (might be work as the caption for stats).

It's already called Demon World when added to the wiki. The error is more likely to occurred when you translated it from Russian to English.

I find the implication of machine translation version that "before [the target] know it, they are being slashed by a married couple" to be more likely.

This is the job of a translator. Correcting the text for better understanding by the reader, if necessary, and identifying names is also part of this work. “Dark Hero” is an absolutely logical and correct name for me.

Topic: A dark knight’s armor is made from realmsilver, the same material used for their weapons. Realmsilver armor is both lightweight and very sturdy, and by forming a protective membrane out of the mana present in the ore, it allows for the baring of skin— something that is very important for monsters— while still maintaining a level of defense akin to a full suit of platemail.

Lescatie’s dark knights are those who have been appointed by Druella, the Fourth Princess of the Mamono Realm, or the Seven Princesses of Lescatie, and have been vested with the honorable title of “knight”. The dark knights, riding mamono realm horses and wielding monster weapons in battle, are tasked with protecting their country so that the citizens of Lescatie can spend their time losing themselves in pleasure in perpetuity— as quasi-legendary figures, they’re closer to the common folk than the heroes were. The knighthood are still objects of respect, just as they were before the land became a mamono realm, and there seem to be no small number of children who aspire to be dark knights. Yet at the same time, the fearsome sight of a horde of figures in black armor racing through the battlefield on monstrous horses is, for hostile Order soldiers, a symbol of fear that rivals even a dragon or a dark brave.

In addition, dark knights will occasionally go on military campaigns to convert human nations and cities in mamono realms upon the orders of Lady Druella or the Seven Princesses. Upon the bestowal of this duty, they become the swords of their adored lilim leader, together filling the world with the joy of corruption, and spread the reach of the mamono realm further. This is a tremendous honor for a dark knight, and it seems to be the highest privilege possible for an unmarried knight, as they can procure a man for themselves on these expeditions.

These women, riding mamono realm horses into the battlefield and skilled in the arts of the sword and the spear, are the most in their element standing on the front lines and clashing swords with their opponents head-on. Their adept usage of swords and spears originates in the techniques used by the human knights of Lescatie before its fall, but heavily adapts the succubus powers that monsters have of captivating men.

A dark knight’s swordsmanship, refined by the supple body of an inma, allows them to wield heavy, sharp swords with the lightness and grace of a dancer— their noble and stirring fighting style is truly knightly, but even the swinging of their swords is beautiful and alluring. Every little movement is an act of seduction, showing off their gorgeous bodies, swaying their voluptuous flesh and exuding sex appeal. Their swords are those of the inma, another element of their temptation of those who they face in battle, and by the time the outcome of the battle is decided, they’ve completely stolen the hearts of their opponents.

Moreover, by combining their excellent sword techniques and inma powers, they can predict and even guide the movements and attentions of their foe, and are skilled in evasive maneuvers as well as those that distract from battle. By all appearances, they are just and forthright knights, but the manner in which they wrap their foes around their little fingers by swords alone and seduce men with their fighting style is in truth the very essence of a monster trying to obtain a husband for herself. Combat, for a dark knight, seems to be just another means of ensnaring a man and making him her husband.

In addition, somewhat unusually for monsters, who tend to each have their own strong idiosyncrasies and personal tenets, and as such tend to be individualists, dark knights excel at working as a group and coordinating their combat. But, perhaps expectedly, it seems like the underlying consensus there is that they are a unified front in finding their own husbands.

■　Origin & Position in Society

The orders of dark knights that exist in Lescatie originate in the pre-mamono realm Theocracy of Lescatie. Due to the nature of a monster invasion, where human combatants are met with monsterization rather than death, no knights fell during the Fall of Lescatie. Because their orders, including those private ones owned by nobles, remained intact after Lescatie became a mamono realm, most of the nation’s dark knights are former humans who became monsters. Back then, with the sole exception of those special few who showed remarkable promise, it was nearly impossible to become a knight if one was not from a long-standing noble family, or a merchant family that had amassed a fortune of its own. However, the fall of the nation opened the doors of opportunity wide— while there would still be intense training and tests, it is now possible for anybody to achieve their goal of becoming a knight, regardless of their status or wealth.

Generally, in human society, it’s considered proper conduct for a knight to swear their fealty to their nation and liege, but in Lescatie, pledging their eternal allegiance to one’s husband and becoming his knight is another completely noble path for one to take. At one point, when the Order of the Chief God’s army allied themselves with a contingent of onmyouji1, elite diviners and exorcists from Xipangu, and attempted to recapture the fallen Lescatie, a monster who fought for the sake of a man who was but a simple commoner was given the title of knight by Lady Druella herself. For monsters, what makes a dark knight a knight is wholehearted loyalty to those precious to them, even if the object of that devotion is neither country nor liege.

In addition, just as a human knight does, a dark knight is expected to adhere to a code of conduct known as “chivalry”. Even after becoming a mamono realm, the values that Lescatie championed when it was still an Order nation were carried on into this ethos— it is considered virtuous for a knight to conduct themselves with nobility and sincerity as a model to others, and to protect those weaker than themselves. These are, of course, among the values shared by both humans and monsters, but what is regarded as “noble” and “sincere” seems to differ significantly between species. Human values dictate that heading steadfastly into battle, holding in one’s heart only thoughts of one’s country and its vulnerable citizens, is the true virtue and ideal manifestation of a knight.

In Lescatie, however, dark knights who battle in order to fulfill their inflamed carnal desires— such as those who fight while dreaming of days spent having sex with their very own prisoner of war, or those who work hard in order to be rewarded by their liege-husbands based on the outcomes of the battle (that is to say, who will have even more fun if they do particularly well)— are also deemed highly chivalrous. The Mamono Realm Nation of Lescatie is a hotbed of sexual desire and pleasure— something that is held as a virtue. Likewise, for the monsters that call it home, the sight of a dark knight who is “sincere” in her passion for her husband is quite “noble”, and therefore, a suitable role model. It seems that these are the aspects of chivalry that make the knights objects of admiration by monster children.

As for the knights themselves, because behaving in such a monster-like way is itself noble, they are proud of the fact that they are tainted by their own obscene desires, and conduct themselves in a dignified and gallant manner as befits a knight.

1: Those who have read my SGI translation know how I feel about keeping Japanese untouched in a translation, which is to say, I really don't like having to do it (if there was a better way around "inma", I'd take it, but there isn't). 陰陽師 is a much more specific (and specifically Japanese) role than just a sorcerer or exorcist, so I left it and injected an explaining aside. In real life, the onmyouji were basically royal diviners based on the traditional Chinese element system, but in fiction, they've taken on a more exciting career as exorcists and demon-slayers.

Mamono Realm Weapons Mastery

This is a technique that allows its user to more efficiently handle mamono realm weaponry through study of both the weapons themselves and the mamono realm ores that are used to create them. Dark knights fight equipped with arms made from the ores found in mamono realms— this is not just a means for victory in battle, but for acquiring a husband, so for these knights, having a solid understanding of their own weapons is an important and fundamental skill.

Ores like realmsilver, mamono realm iron, and druellite are metals transformed by monster mana, and are substances that exist in a state somewhere between a standard metal and a mass of mana. The most notable trait that all weapons made from these ores have in common is their non-lethality— they injure not the physical body of their targets, but their essence or mana. While the mana wounds that these weapons inflict neither pain nor bleeding, they do cause a seepage of mana, which leads to fever and weakness. In the case of a serious wound, the target will be unable to move the part of the body that sustained it; a blow that would have been fatal if dealt by an ordinary weapon will instead leave them completely immobile or even cause them to faint. On top of that, the body will draw in the monster mana dwelling inside the weapon in its own attempt to replenish the energy lost from the mana wound. In the case of human women, this leads to monsterization.

Yet another property shared by all mamono realm ores is that they are all quite easy to further imbue with mana. The dark knights fight with weapons that contain their own mana, and by improving their skills, they can endeavor to store even more of it within their arms— that is the true essence of this technique. As one improves this technique, they become able to put more and more complex mana into their weaponry, allowing them to wield “magic swords” that can possess a variety of magical effects and even elemental affinities1.

Furthermore, by sending even more mana through an opponent’s body with an attack loaded with the user’s mana, even the most shallow wound becomes debilitating, making it possible to swiftly incapacitate an opponent, or even instantly monsterize them. In this way, the power of a mamono realm weapon is dependent on not only the basic qualities of the weapon itself, but its user’s master of this technique.

Inma War Dance

This is a technique for showing off one’s charm to an opponent in battle, seducing them. It is the basis of the succubus schools of swordsmanship and spearmanship, combining the inma’s ability to possess a man’s heart that all monsters are blessed with and traditional methods of handling weapons.

The way a dark knight fights is captivating and intrinsically sexual, even in the way they wield their swords— whenever their body beautifully undulates as they swing a sword or dodge an opponent’s attack, a man’s eye is drawn to them. Even their attacks are sensual, inevitably seducing the men they face. For a monster, the act of combat is just yet another opportunity to seduce and obtain a man; with this school of practice, even if one cannot land a decisive blow, they can imprison a man’s heart just by continuing to fight.

Lady Wimarina, Lescatie’s mightiest hero, is a master of this technique, and while she has no intention whatsoever in flaunting her charms to anyone except her own husband, it is said that the mere sight of her technique can incapacitate many opponents all at once. Not only is this one of the most standard combat styles among the dark knights, it sees widespread use among not just the forces of Lescatie, but of many monsters who fight, including the Mamono Lord’s Army.

Succubus Provoke

A technique wherein especially alluring and provocative gestures are interwoven into more typical combat movements to arouse men and attract their gaze and attention towards the user. By deliberately and immediately captivating their male opponent, one can direct a man’s eyes and attention wherever they so please. In other words, one can manipulate the movements of the opponent they’re fighting to some extent— even a surefire swing from a man’s sword will miss its mark and slash through air, and magic attacks will fail or fly off in some unintended direction.

Additionally, by continually and repeatedly using this technique to draw the gaze of opponents targeting allies or even enemy soldiers with other important duties, the user can get them to forget whatever else they were doing and continue to stare at oneself. This way, a dark knight can keep a man in the palm of her hand even in the middle of a skirmish, and steal the enemy’s heart before he is even aware of it— truly a technique perfect for inma.

It appears to be that this technique is a typical non-combat inma move that they use to wordlessly beg men for kisses, or get them to squeeze and rub their breasts being put to practical use on the battlefield.

Melty Parry

A technique for parrying an attack by entwining one’s sword with the opponent’s weapon just like an inma would ensnare a man. This parry is an extremely advanced tactic that combines a monster’s strong yet supple arms, dextrous hand movements cultivated primarily in order to fondle a man’s body and pleasure his manhood, and the high-level swordsmanship of a knight.

After ensnaring an opponent’s weapon, it becomes possible to not merely parry their attack, but even snatch away their weapon and immediately fall into their impromptu embrace, or conversely, pull them into the user’s own arms. Once entangling not just through weapons or arms in this way, but by every part of their bodies, this technique seems to see frequent use by caressing one’s opponent’s body, whispering sweet nothings and lovely sighs into his ear, and then flowing seamlessly into an inma’s preferred style of combat.

At the end of the day, as befitting a technique pioneered by inma, the sight of a dark knight entwining around her opponent is a beautiful, sensual thing— they say that with a master’s skilled hand, it looks as if the knight’s weapon becomes an extension of its wielder to further ensnare their opponent.

Pole Stance

This technique puts an opponent at the user’s mercy by treating a spear like a pole and using it like an axis to twist and writhe one’s body around like a snake— a freeform and alluring fighting style. A spear made from mamono realm ore and imbued with mana can be fixed in place as if tethered in midair, even without being stuck in the earth, and because there’s no need to pull the spear back out, the dance-like movements can flow effortlessly back into an attack.

While it is fundamentally a version of the inma war dance made for spear specialists, this technique is characterized by occasionally interweaving provocative actions like running one’s hands or tongue along the spear, and therefore being far more likely to directly stimulate an opponent’s sexual desire. The chaotic, irregular, and decidedly impure movements of the pole stance make it impossible to predict the user’s next move— along with confusing one’s opponent, the strong thrill brought about by what the man sees will keep his eyes fixated on the dance, inevitably causing his male urges to swell. Naturally, this arousal makes one’s opponent unable to think rationally.

This technique is made possible by the supple and alluring bodies that all monsters are blessed with, and can see even greater effect when used by a monster of the lamia family, whose entire bodies are flexible and capable of twisting and turning sensually. Warmother1 Mersé, one of the Seven Princesses of Lescatie and an echidna, the highest-ranking monster in the lamia family, can make not only her body but her own spear writhe like a snake and dazzle her opponent— with a loose, gentle movement without any preparation whatsoever, she releases a tremendous final blow that pierces both armor and earth.

1: 戦母 is a novel compound with the characters for "war" and "mother", and I'm still not 100% sure what it's supposed to imply other than drawing back to the "mother of monsters" thing. Sounds cool, though!

Mana Slash

A move wherein the user attacks by unleashing the mana inside their weapon as they swing it. A mana slash slips through physical defenses such as metal armor, so in order to block it, one must utilize magical defenses.

It is the fundamental technique of a magic sword, a simple attack that only fires off mana— but it’s precisely because of this simplicity that its range, power, and speed dramatically increases depending on the user’s mana and proficiency. Furthermore, if the user excels at magic and has a large amount of mana, they can also bestow various magical effects upon the attack such as “make one’s opponent aroused” or “hit one’s opponent with a wave of pleasure so powerful that they orgasm on the spot”.

Because a mana slash is best utilized against targets at some distance from the user, taking more time to fully execute, it’s not typically one used during close combat. That being said, it seems that when used by a master, this technique can fire off mana with hardly any preparation. They will deliberately fire it off within a very close range, fighting in a way that both lands a physical blow from the sword and a mana slash in the same swing. Against such exemplary form, physical protections such as shields and armor may become utterly meaningless.

On another note, the arch devil Parché1, pride of the Knights of the Dark Ice Flower and a prolific magic swordswoman, is a master of this technique— she specializes in rapid-fire mana slashes from a great distance and at tremendous speeds. A rain of these blows, full of the high-ranking fiend’s mana, is a serious threat to any opponent, but due to her disposition and appearance, the sight of her wielding her sword in such a way looks for all the world like a child throwing a tantrum, which has endeared her to her fellow dark knights.

1: Fun note: only Druella and the Seven Princesses are graced with the 様 title, the knights themselves get the much more neutral さん, which honestly is purely necessary for distal form, and isn't really even worth translating as "Ms." or "Mrs.".

A blow from such a blade, steeped in such concentrated, viscous mana, is naturally going to completely incapacitate anyone who directly receives it, but what makes this technique distinct is the assumption that one’s opponent is going to guard against it.

The thick mana can be transmitted through the weapon, shield, or armor that the opponent is using to defend themselves with and spread into their body, invading them by the user’s mana. In addition, upon this transmission, it will erode whatever did the blocking, and can transmute the metals used into mamono realm metals. In other words, if an opponent blocks the attack with their sword, it will become a non-lethal mamono realm sword and lose its ability to injure an enemy. If armor were to take the brunt of the blow, it would become mamono realm armor, full of mana, inevitably changing the enemy wearing it into a monster.

In a battle between knights, blocking a sword swing using one’s own sword is a fundamental skill, but when one’s opponent is a dark knight, the existence of this technique makes blocking without thinking very dangerous indeed.

This is a dark knight’s ultimate move, one that can only be achieved when they have honed their will, and their hearts have become dominated by pure lust. A blow from a sword in such a state has the power to crush not an opponent’s body, mana, or even armor, but their heart. All of a dark knight’s dissolute desires that have been channeled into and fired off by their sword will, by melting and corrupting their opponent’s heart, destroy any sense of hostility they once had, turning every aggressive urge towards the dark knight into powerful sexual yearning.

The strength of this sword technique grows in proportion to the strength and purity of the dark knight’s desire, just as its effect becomes even stronger the more antipathy the opponent holds towards monsters. Due to this quality, this technique is at its most powerful only when used against a particularly formidable foe who believes with all of his heart that monsters are truly wicked beings, and is extremely hostile towards them— and, of course, when the dark knight wishes from the depths of her being to have sex with her opponent and make him her husband.

Additionally, when this attack is used against a human woman, it will both turn her into a monster and invert her urge to attack into lust. It can even be said that the more hostile towards monsters, or simply belligerent, the woman is, the more likely she is to become an even more obscene monster herself as a result.

Duel Vow

A powerful spell that creates a space that no others can intrude upon by declaring one’s affiliation and name to their opponent and pledging to a duel. No others can enter this temporary space other than the two parties affected by the vow’s magic, and any attacks or spells from the outside will be repelled or neutralized. At the same time, no attacks from the inside can penetrate this barrier either, and neither person involved in the duel can leave until a winner is decided.

This is a practical application of one of the most basic spells that all monsters can unconsciously cast, the “repelling ward”, made even more potent by the binding oath of a duel proclamation. A repelling ward is a spell that manifests when a monster has sex with a human man and their essence and mana mixes together and expands. All of that overflowing mana creates an inaccessible atmosphere, or at least repels others— in other words, it is magic that prevents anything that could interrupt sexual intercourse.

It’s thanks to this spell’s effects that the monsters making love to their war trophies that litter the battlefield are not targeted by enemies, despite being in an incredibly vulnerable position. A duel vow is technically an application of the spell that wards off anything that could interfere with a duel rather than sex, but perhaps due to the nature of the baseline magic, this spell has no effect unless the user also vows to make their opponent their spouse after defeating them.

There are occasions when the spell’s effect isn’t released even if a winner has been declared, leaving the duelists unable to leave, but in these instances, it’s generally because the dark knight who cast the spell had spent too much time imagining the duel’s aftermath, thinking that “the conclusion of our duel will include the moment that will bind us together forever”. In that circumstance, in order to leave, the participants would have to have sex and become husband and wife right then and there.

Oath of the Dark Knight

A spell is more effective when used in concert with a vow— in this way, any oath a dark knight may pledge contains great power. The “oath of the dark knight” is a spell that dramatically boosts the dark knight’s physical prowess and mana levels by taking a vow. A married dark knight whose husband is already eagerly awaiting her return is sure to receive the benefits of this magic, as she has made an oath to remain faithful to her spouse.

Furthermore, the more loyalty and devotion the knight has vowed to their spouse, the more effective the oath’s magic becomes— truly obscene vows worthy of the dark knights of Lescatie, like “I will always swallow my husband’s seed after I please him with my mouth” or "whenever my beloved is overcome with desire, I will always offer my body unto him” seem to give the knights even greater power. In other words, carrying oneself as an ideal dark knight with “sincere” conduct and “noble” spirit has the potential to bolster a knight’s power.

Also, even oaths such as “when I return from battle, I will do such and such with my husband” can lend substantial power to a dark knight. A dark knight who has yet to marry, heading for battle vowing to herself that “when I return from this front, I shall tell my dearest of my love for them” will almost certainly come home with stupendous success, assuredly being wed to her beloved.

This is due to the “inma war dance” style of combat that each dark knight utilizes for themselves has a synergistic effect, enhancing not just one’s own appeal, but that of their comrades, creating an alluring and lascivious atmosphere around the entire unit. A horde of well-organized and gorgeous inma will take the breath away from those who see them simply marching— the sight of them in combat is just like a beautiful group dance artfully unfolding on a stage, inevitably stealing every heart in a squad of human men.

Cooperative relations between monsters usually come somewhat naturally, being that they tend to be like alliances born between each monster striving to obtain their own man, but in the end, this technique is only as powerful as it is for the highly skilled, and highly organized, dark knights of Lescatie. Even the Mamono Lord’s Army, under the direct command of the Mamono Lord herself, has few units as proficient and cohesive as Lescatie’s dark knights— it is thought that this is because the majority of the nation’s knights are former humans, and the high level of military training that was already present in the Theocracy of Lescatie’s army, which became the foundation for the Lescatie of today.

Loyalty Resonance

When multiple dark knights who share the same husband fight together, they can raise each other’s combat power and move as one. By being so tightly connected by the same will, the same love, and the same essence that dwells within them, a group of knights can fully understand each other’s thoughts and movements in great detail without even saying a word during a battle, moving in perfect sync with one another.

Their proficiency in this skill gradually raises as they spend their nights together, making love to their husband as a group— a harem made up of dark knights will be so well-organized in combat that it seems unthinkable that they were a species as highly individualistic as monsters, and undoubtedly become extremely proficient units that fight with a unified sense of purpose. Monsters obtain essence and accumulate mana by having sex with human men, and when that mana mixes together with essence, it swells even further, leading to them becoming even more powerful. In the case of a man having multiple monsters as wives, those multiple varieties of mana spreading throughout his body, swirling together, and circulating seems to make that power even more potent.

Even if they aren’t dark knights, monsters in a harem will eventually grow more powerful due to this synergy, but that isn’t to say that they can just as easily utilize this in battle, reading each other’s intentions and fighting in perfect harmony. This is due to the fact that the desire that each monster in a harem has for their husband is fully distinct from one another. The power of loyalty resonance only exists through dark knights, who share both the same values of chivalry, and the same desire for their shared husband that manifests as loyalty.

Moreover, despite not being dark knights, the Seven Princesses of Lescatie, who all share a husband, have a power equivalent to a knight’s loyalty resonance; when all seven are together, they have might enough to rival Lady Druella, herself said to possess power comparable to that of a high-level deity. Indeed, the Seven Princesses are battle-tested allies who shower pleasure upon the same husband, and seem to get along extremely well as the dearest of friends, but it is thought that the reason why these princesses, each incredibly strong by themselves and with equally strong idiosyncrasies, can mutually bolster each other’s power in the way that only the tightly coordinated dark knights can is the abnormal generosity of the man that all seven of them share.

The secret of this technique lies in a monster’s hips. Most monsters, succubi foremost among them, are the most adept at having sex with human men, primarily in the cowgirl position. Of course, a monster’s hips are essentially used to mount men, but when all is said and done, monsters can mount just about anything and are extremely skilled at using their hips to do so. No matter what position one’s body is in, no matter how violently one’s body is shaking from the intense pleasure given to them by a penis, as long as they’re still on top of the man, they’ll unconsciously keep their balance using their hips in order to make the man feel as good as possible. A mamono realm horse, as any living thing from a mamono realm, is capable of feeding on the mana that monsters emit. In order to strengthen a mamono realm horse, one must instill into the beast the flavor of one’s own mana, and have it recognize its rider’s mana as its “favorite food”. To accomplish this, of course, it’s essential for a rider to spend plenty of time with their horse and get it thoroughly familiar with their own mana, as well as improving the quality of one’s own mana. In other words, it’s pivotal that a rider frequently mates with their husband and obtains large quantities of essence.

In addition to that, the most effective path is to release a great deal of mana near the horse— that is, to ride it with one’s husband. As the rider shares their steed with their husband, and the essence and monster mana from their intimate position1 mix together, that rapid swell of mana fills the horse, and it will become captivated by that meltingly sweet flavor. For this reason, it seems to be very popular among dark knights who favor mounted combat to spend their days off going on horseback outings with their husbands.

Once the mamono realm horse has acquired a taste for its rider’s mana in this way, it will eventually come to accept the mana generated by its rider without any resistance and be won over— if the horse receives a burst of mana while racing through the battlefield, it can achieve such feats as instantaneously boost its running abilities and accelerate rapidly, or even leap across a giant ravine.
